| Yes! School is out. We get grades on Wednesday which is a bad thing. I slacked a little this semester. I'm still hanging in Jamestown for track. I'm going to nationals in Fresno, California at the end of May so I'll be here until then. If you want to come and give me some company that would be great! | | |
| I decided I'd give the ol' Xanga a post this morning. Here's a rundown on life right now...Basketball is over, school sucks as usual (my grades are not impressive), track just started the first meet is next Friday (scared), I am still involved with David A., I'm still alive so in general everything is A-OK.

You're my distance, destination of choice I'd give anything just to hear your voice I could have passed you on the street without saying a word Most times, I miss the voice that goes unheard
What If I missed you, you got caught in the sun What If I did something never to be undone
People everywhere how could I be sure If it's you that I have been looking for What would it take for me to be comfortable With you, with me you're the chosen one
What If I missed you, you got caught in the sun What If I did something never to be undone
You are there for me this I hope and pray You will wait for me I won't be too late
What If I missed you, you got caught in the sun What If I did something never to be undone
Will you wait for me or will I be too late this time You are there for me this I hope and pray

| Well the long weekend was certainly refreshing let me tell you... Got to hang out with Josh and Adam Morrow they are very exciting boys. My mom and BMR came down to the lakes as well. I hung out with my ol' friend Nic P. We had a good time together. The weather was pretty crazy. We had a lot of wind. The pontoon even floated of the lift and hit shore because the waves were so damn high. It was pretty crazy. Josh, Adam, and I rode the waves for awhile and that was a rush for sure. Heather Melvey spent the weeked on a yacht in Lake Powell. She has such a rough life in the south..lol. I miss that girl. Hopefully she can make if up here for one of the holiday breaks we have coming up. It has been soooo long!!!
Once again I would just like to say that I am having a great time up here in J-Town. I think I will go home this weekend to see my Papa and Lucky and hang out with Holly at NDSU. I miss her too! I haven't seen her i like 2 weeks! Sad...I was supposed to hang with her this weekend, but I had no ride to get to her and Verizon sucks at the lake!! (I will have to find a new excuse not to hang out with her cuz she won't fall for that one again....JK Hollybears!!) I will definitely give u a ring a ding!!
Catch ya all later!!
Artist/Band: Williams Hank Jr Lyrics for Song: Country Boy Can Survive Lyrics for Album: Greatest Hits
The preacher man says it’s the end of time And the Mississippi River she’s a goin’ dry The interest is up and the Stock Markets down And you only get mugged If you go down town
I live back in the woods, you see A woman and the kids, and the dogs and me I got a shotgun rifle and a 4-wheel drive And a country boy can survive Country folks can survive
I can plow a field all day long I can catch catfish from dusk till dawn We make our own whiskey and our own smoke too Ain’t too many things these ole boys can’t do We grow good ole tomatoes and homemade wine And a country boy can survive Country folks can survive
Because you can’t starve us out And you cant makes us run Cause one-of- ‘em old boys raisin ole shotgun And we say grace and we say Ma’am And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn
We came from the West Virginia coalmines And the Rocky Mountains and the and the western skies And we can skin a buck; we can run a crop line And a country boy can survive Country folks can survive
I had a good friend in New York City He never called me by my name, just hillbilly My grandpa taught me how to live off the land And his taught him to be a businessman He used to send me pictures of the Broadway nights And I’d send him some homemade wine
But he was killed by a man with a switchblade knife For 43 dollars my friend lost his life Id love to spit some beechnut in that dudes eyes And shoot him with my old 45 Cause a country boy can survive Country folks can survive
Cause you can’t starve us out and you can’t make us run Cause one-of- ‘em old boys raisin ole shotgun And we say grace and we say Ma’am And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn
We’re from North California and south Alabam And little towns all around this land And we can skin a buck; we can run a crop line And a country boy can survive Country folks can survive
Can you tell that I LOVE country music!?! | | |
